About Me

My name is Emily Dengler and I am currently a first-year dental student at the James B. Edward College of Dental Medine at the Medical University of South Carolina. I am originally from Collegeville, Pennsylvania. I have a Public Health B.S. degree from the University of South Carolina where I graduated with Leadership Distinction in Professional and Civic Engagement.

Leadership has been a huge passion of mine, during my undergraduate career I served as Student Body Vice President for my university and president of my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega. In dental school, I am currently a member of the Dental Student Alumni Council, the American Student Dental Association, the American Association for Women Dentists, and the Pediatric Dentistry Club.

My hope for this website is to give advice to help pre-dental students gain acceptance into dental school, to share my dental school journey, and to create a community of people interested in dentistry. Besides this website, you can also follow my journey on Instagram and TikTok @emdengdental.
